I had a very stressful day in the blogging world so i have come to a decision and that is i am moving my blog to wordpress. I was locked out of this blog all day with no response from google about how to get back in. I had to use my home phone land line to finally past the verification lockdown i was in. Happy New Year to all my lovely followers out there. If your a member of pinterest then you should make sure you follow me over their if you want to check out what inspires me, neat copic tutorials and various other things i come across to pin on my virtual pin boards.

I was inspired by a card i found on pinterest to make this pretty butterfly card. I totally cased her card and of course added my own little twist to it. So make sure you stop by here to give the original artist some credit.

Here my version of this very pretty card.

As you can see i stuck to the same orignal idea but i colored my butterfly, changed out the blue pearls for some creamy white ones, added flowers and colored up my butterfly.

My favorite things wednesday stamp club

I love to particpate in sketch challenges and if you follow my blog you know that. Well one of the highlights of my week is to check out the Wednesday stamp club sketch with my favorite things that is hosted on splitcoast but you can see it on their blog here to.

I really enjoyed this week sketch so much i created two cards.

The first one features flurry of love from my favorite things and is a 4.25 x 5.5 card.

Whiff of joy penguin first snow

It sketch time over at the whiff of joy challenge blog and i just had to ink up this new penguin from whiff of joy its penguin first snow. For my puffy snow i used a marker from hobby lobby called snow marker which you color on your project and then heat up with your embossing gun. I colored the penguin with a mixture of copics and glitter pens. My papers are from october afternoon rocket age. Sentiment is from unity jolly little winter.

Hello and welcome to another wonderful week The Perfect Sentiment Challenge this week theme is another great one to get you in the mood to start your Christmas cards. The theme this week is sparkly Christmas. So get out your sparkly glitter, emobssing poweders, smooch sparys, glitter pens, sparkly papers and go sparkly crazy. I know it can be hard to show sparkly on camera so just make sure to not in your blog post what you used to make your project sparkle.

Karens doodles challenge this week is to use a karens doodle image and follow the recipe of 3 different embellishments, 2 pattern papers and one image. I choose for my image to use bigsby christmas list, my 3 different embellishments are my border punch loopy punch from martha stewart, the brads in the corner and the spiral clip on the corner of my image. For my 2 patterns i use the yellow paper and the stripes from darling deer my minds eye, and my sentiment is ctmh. I colored bigsby with copics and glitter pens.

Over at papermake up stamps it time for a new digi makeover challenge and this week is a color challenge. Since it almost halloween i just had to use this adorable witch from pms. I used papers in the colors that were set out for this color challenge. I used cuttlebug swiss dots and swirl embossing folders to accent the layers. Queen Kat 5th Birthday

On my card i used get well riley and my sentiment is computer generated. For my embossing i used paisley cuttlebug folder and i used nestablaties on my sentiment and my main image.

Over at the bells and whistles challenge blog this week they want to see a card using your favorite bells and whistles or elisabeth bell stamp. I love all of the snowbabies but i think this one by far has to be my favorite. She a lot of fun to color up in different colors and she works just right for a winter card to wish someone a happy day. My papers are from october afternoon and dcwv. My ribbon is from hobby lobby, i colored my image with copics and glitter pens. I used martha stewart drippy goo punch and label 4 nestabalites. My sentiment is from there she goes snowy days set. Hello Ladies.

I can not tell you how excited i am to be part of this fabulous Ghoul Tide Blog hop. If you are here then you need to make sure you go back and start at the very beginning so you do not miss out on any of the ghoulish projects.

Here is my project to help you get inspired for halloween or fall. I choose to make a spooky halloween explosion box. It used images from tickled pink stamps and the stampin up house of haunts set.

This is the top of the box with the spooky house of the stampin up house of haunts set. I used my stampin up brayer to create the spooky skyline. I also cut my explosion box out on my cricut expression using the george cartridge and cricut design studio.

I have loved the out of this world since it came out a few months back and i just got all giggly cause i got to play with it this week for the first time. I starting combing thru my images trying to decide what image to use when i ran across this cutie that dustin had give out as a freebie. I printed him out and he all ready precolored so that helped. I took this as opportunity to go clean and simple with one of my favorite Taylored expressions set from the oh the places you go stamp set. I stamped my image in memento innk and colored with copics. Added a bit of glitter pen to the top of the waves to make the water stand out more. Inked my edges with some blue memento ink. I hope you like my water image.

PMS Digi Makeover Challenge DT call

Papermake up stamps has decided to start a weekly challenge focused on the use of digital stamps and that means they need a group of people who love using digital images. They have provided to adorable images for this call. One is the AHA heart fairy which i am featuring in my post and the other is Argus the monster with his teddy bear. You can read all the details about the call on the PMS blog.

Papermakeup stamps would like to know what i like about digital stamps. I like digital stamps for a variety of reasons. One is that they are very affordable, easily storable on your computer or in my case a flash drive, and most of the best reason is you can make them any size for your project which i believe makes them a better bargain for your money cause it like getting several sizes of the same stamp. Also quite rencently a few companies have been offering there images in colored versions as well as black and white so for those that may not enjoy the coloring process it a quick size and print and add to your project.

As far as dabbling in different ways to use digi images other then resizing i also recently discovered a new way to color both rubber and digital images it called the no lines technique. You stamp your image in a light color like pink or a very light blue and once you color it almost looks like you painted your image. You can do the same with a digi you just light the opacity of the image tell you barely see the lines. Anyway i babbled on enough about digi images and my love for them.

Over at there she goes clear stamps the challenge this week is a color challenge. The color to use are baby pink, coral and black. Extra bonus points if your able to add gold somewhere on your project. Now it took me a few mintues to decide what i had that was going to work with this project. Your able to use any company you want for this challenge but i always challenge myself when it company challenge blog to use stamps from that company if have ones that will work. So i got out my tsg sets and hmm and haaa and then i said flip flops it is. I was able to get both shades of pink, black and the bonus gold on my project by heat embossing my sentiment with gold detail embossing powder.

Over at the icopic weekly challenge blog this week the challenge is to use orange and blue on your creation. I was scrolling thru my collection of dustin pike digital images and ran across this surfing dragon and i though yep he will work out fine. I went with orange and blue colors for the surf board and my draong is colored with blue copics. Crab is colored with red smooch. I used some smooch on the wave. On the make it crafty blog one of the gals had a brilliant thought what if you stamped your image in a lighter color then black or printed your digital more faded. The result is your image almost looks painted. I choose to use smooches from elisabeth bell and i faded her to 80 percent. I think i am going to try going lighter next time around. This week over at Tickled Pink Elephant they are sponsored by There she goes clear stamps. They have a adorable sketch to follow. I cut my circle at 6 inches on my cricut design studio and then i cut a circle at 5.75 with stella and rose paper from my minds eye. My stamps are from there she goes and i colored the image with copics. I also used the zig zag emboss bored punch from martha stewart.

I had this Christmas train stamp for a little while from Whiff of Joy and i think it one of the cutest images they released last year from their christmas line. So in honor of simon says stamp challenge theme this week Christmas in august I made this card.

Over at stamp something this week the theme is summer fun so i decided to go with a clean simple look. I brayerd the sky and the earth under the fairy. Then i stamped her in black and then added the sentiment. Both the fairy and the sentiment are from paper make up stamps.

The challenge this week over at the Bells and Whistles blog is to make a project focusing on the theme "so girly". I choose to use little rapunzel from the elisabeth bell digital collection. I used papers from basic grey blush paper line. I colored little rapunzel up with copics, used stampin up scallop bored punch, creamy white brads, pink ribbon and some prima baby roses.
